The Ponderosa Park which is situated in the picturesque village of Old Tupton, near the beautiful Matlock Bath in the Derbyshire Dales.

This site has 48 park homes spread over four acres the vast majority being twin units, the most popular of which are Tingdene models. The plots are bigger than on many parks and all have parking, with 40 of them including garages. There is also an award winning hotel, restaurant and tennis courts.

Ponderosa is a mature park, with greenery abound in the form of shrubs, conifers and plenty of large trees around the perimeter. The plots are all divided up - often by carefully shaped quite tall hedges to ensure privacy. Gardens are well tended and there is even an annual gardening competition.

The park is looked after by resident managers so help is always on hand. There is a strong sense of community helped by the occasional barbeque on the park green.

Pondorosa Park is well located, with the peak district national park is just a few miles away, as is Ashover village with its three pubs. Tupton is only half a mile away with the nearest shop being only a quarter of a mile down the lane. Clay Cross and Chesterfield are also in easy reach offering all the usual facilities.

Ponderosa has won the Mobile Home Park of the year awarded by the Mobile Homes magazine.

Matlock Bath has many local attractions including Gulliver's Kingdom, Abraham's Heights and a large play park for the children. There are also many small but high quality restaurants situated on the main street.

There are many local attractions within easy reach from the park including: Chatsworth House, Richard Arkwrights' Textile Mill Museum and for children, the popular Eureka museum and Alton Towers. Haddon Hall, the location of films such as Elizabeth and Jane Eyre is also situated nearby.
